All my life music has been nature to me; from running around in my diaper singing elton john, to sitting at my dads drums listening to the eagles and trying to play along.. music is what has always been there, my mom ACTUALLY use to put her headphones on her stomach so i could rock the womb. for my first instrument started off as loud and obnoxious as a 9 year old could ever dream of being, I followed my father and on Christmas 1999 i got my first set of drums. Fast forward to my parents moving us into a apartment, i had to trade them fire engine red Westbury Percussion drums in a for a acoustic guitar.. damn i hated that thing.. Grade 8 came around and i made a friend who liked music, he played piano and guitar and i had one of them things sitting in my closet, So eventually you know what happened.. Throughout highschool punk had inspired me to get as close to a gibson lp as i could afford Eppiphone special 2 - i beat the hell out of that thing - late into highschool i found God - i know crazy - 16 and I found the best thing to happen to my life.. after a bit i decided to join the worship team as a guitarist..

this is where i stop the history lesson and get to the point...

I am blessed to be part of the worship team at Royalview Church, i am doing what i love for a God i love and best of all i found what i am called to do… See all those years of fiddling with this and that i had never settled, while friends were making band and doing what they did - i just wasn’t part of it. Since joining the RV team i have written 4 songs Living For You, We Sing, Light, and Beyond Eternity. today i got the chance to stand back and hear some of the other members of the team play one of those song.. and it was great to stand back and know that its not about me being on stage playing my heart out, its not about the words i write sounding good, its about God. And as i have always tried to know that i can now say i feel that..
